Get Inked With Body Art - The Beauty of Tribal Tiger Tattoos

Mean, bold, fierce - some of the attributes associated with a tiger tattoo. The symbolism of the tiger does not end here, however. Invincibility, might and power may also come to mind when one encounters an image of this beautiful animal.

In Japan, the tiger is paired with the dragon to signify the yin and the yang or heaven and earth. Koreans view this animal as the leader of the jungle, as compared to the lion which leads the animal world in Africa.

Different countries hold different meanings for the tiger. One thing is certain though. Tigers symbolize power and strength. It is for this reason that this animal is one of the most famous images used by people as the object of their tattoos.

Tattoo artists and tattoo enthusiasts alike have favored this mighty beast not only because of the meticulous and artistic talent it would need to draw the image on skin but also because of the meaning it could hold for the person who wears it.

Some people prefer having only the face of the tiger. Some would want it in a creative pose or in action. There are those who want to have it in black and white, and those who would rather have it in full color across a wonderful landscape.

The beauty of this tattoo is that you have the freedom to be creative and artistic with the position, size, and design and add images to it. Tribal patterns and lines are definitely one way to spice up and add more beauty to the tiger tattoo.

Tribal tattoo designs are so attractive that men and women prefer it. Tribal patters around the face of the tiger for example, may make the tiger look like its one fire, giving it a fiercer look to it. Tiger stripes in black and white may blend well with the tribal patterns that may look like stripes as well.

Tribal tiger tattoos could symbolize more because the tribal drawings are very crucial for different minority groups. This would not only make your tattoo more attractive and interesting, it would also add symbolisms and maybe capture your personality in this simple tattoo style.

People also prefer tribal tiger tattoos to be put on the arm or across the chest. For women, it would be more stunning to have it at the back, below the neck or at the lower back. There are women who say that they think it makes them more bold and courageous to have it on one arm. Similarly, men can have it across their backs also. This gives enough space for a full drawn tiger or even one that is in action. The tribal patterns would add detail and personality to your tattoo design.

It is no wonder that tribal tiger tattoos are favored by a lot of people. Sometimes, it can serve as a lovely reminder that you too can be like this beautiful fierce animal - very strong, courageous, and definitely fueled by power.

It's not easy being green...

I have green hands from spray painting into the wind and hopefully now a green car as it was close by at the time...

Kermit meanwhile was hanging out round Charnwood. I just had to take a photo.
Other green things I have come accross?

When you are sitting there and you see someone walking down the street, a poser type. And you cant help but think to your self 'I am better than you in every way'...or is that just me...chortles

This bag is great. it is a bit like wearing your thoughts on your sleeve, or your t shirt, or where ever you happen to wear your thoughts these days...

Speaking of wearing your thoughts I purchased another badge machine today. I can now safely say I have invested over $700 in badge machines...crazy huh. doesnt sound like such a 'sound' investment now does it. it's not just that either. i like the idea of having a badge machine (or machines plural now) but i never see to have the time to come up with horribly witty badges. I imagine it is the sort of thing I am going to have to devote a week to...

Right, now it is time to stop procrastinating and devote some more time to my amaturish grafitti and green hands...or maybe a cup of tea...

The Truth Behind Koi Fish Tattoo Designs - Are They the Best Design For You?

Since you have already made the decision to get the design of your choice tattooed on your skin for life, the next equally difficult decision is determining which tattoo design is the best expression of you. While you may think that your choices are limited only to the designs that can be found on the wall of your local tattoo shop, the design you choose is really only limited by your imagination. One of the designs that is increasing in popularity are koi fish tattoo designs. While you may know next to nothing about this up and coming design we will give you an overview of the history behind koi fish tattoo designs so you can determine if is the best option for you.

One of the first questions you may have is what exactly is a koi fish? The basic explanation is that it is a large fish that is related to the Carp fish. While the common color is orange and red, they are quite commonly mistakenly identified as large goldfish. Like any other fish, the koi's size is determined by the environment that it is placed in. If given the space, a koi fish has the ability to grow up to three feet long. The koi is the most popular fish in Japan since the Japanese have loved and respected the fish for many years. They are commonly bred and kept as pets by the Japanese simply because they are a very attractive looking fish.

Since tattoos are known by many cultures as a life changing alteration to your body, many believe that they provide a change to your soul as well. That is why koi fish tattoos are becoming very popular. They are quite beautiful and have a deep meaning that the wearer commonly relates to. Since many obtain a tattoo as a way to symbolize something that holds a special meaning to them. When someone asks about your koi tattoo designs, you are then provided with the chance to explain the true meaning of your tattoo. Some of the more common meanings behind these tattoo designs are advancement, improvement, ambition, courage, determination, luck, independence, freedom and even strength. Regardless of whether you identify with one or all these meanings, koi fish tattoo designs are a great way to express the person you are.

Koi fish tattoo designs, like the fish itself, are known to come in a variety of different colors as well as some bright colors. If you decide that one of the many koi fish tattoo designs is the best fit for you, then you will need to enlist the help of a very talented tattoo artist that can successfully capture the color and uniqueness of this special fish. Just keep in mind that quality koi fish tattoo designs will end up costing more than other designs.

The reason why these unique tattoo designs are so expensive is because in order to get the design just right, the artist needs to use colored ink. This commonly means that the colors that are used can only be used on you, and any color that is left when the tattoo is complete must be thrown away due to health reasons. This is why koi fish tattoo designs tend to cost so much more than a basic black and white image.

Just don't let cost deter you from choosing the koi fish tattoo designs that you love. A skilled tattoo artist will do their best to not waist any of the ink that is used on you, but there is still a chance that some of it will be thrown away. If you want a high quality koi fish tattoo designs that you will love for the rest of your life, be prepared for the added cost that these designs will cost. Since these designs are so unique, it is a worthy investment that will be a true expression of the person you are for years to come.

Fish Tattoo Designs - Making the Right Catch

There are a lot of different fish to consider in fish tattoo designs, based mainly upon your reason for getting one in the first place. Their popularity is varied, though not as varied as your reasoning. Be sure to do your research to pick the perfect fish tattoo.

The most popular reason to get a fish tattoo would be because you are of the astrological sign Pisces, or born in between February and March twentieth. The symbol of Pisces is a fish, and to identify themselves as such, a person might get tattoo of a fish.

Also, tattoos of koi fish are increasingly popular among the young, hip demographic. Koi are Japanese fish and getting them as a part of "sleeves" - or tattoos that cover the entire arm - was popularized during the surge in the popularity of Japanese artists. Koi are also easily translated into tattoo form, looking superb when tattooed realistically or cartoon-style. Koi are found in nature in many stunning colors, which is another reason their for their popularity in art and body art.

Another popular fish to adorn your skin with is the beta fish. These fish are notoriously aggressive, held up as fighters. Those who identify as one with a fighting spirit may want to get a beta fish tattooed. These fish have beautiful colors and fan-like fins, adding to their tattoo popularity. A realistic beta fish tattooed by a skilled artist would be stunning.

Also, tattoos of sharks can be done beautifully. Whether someone chooses to get a tattoo of a shark as some sort of symbolism or because they are fans of them, shark tattoos are uncommon, though striking.

The beta, the shark, and the next popular fish, the piranha, all identify the wearer of such a tattoo as either a fan of the fish or someone who is expressing their fighting heart with such symbolically "fighter" fish. Tattoos of the Amazon's carnivorous piranha are popular and beautiful.

Of course, the Christian fish is also very prevalent. People of Christian faith may want to display their devotion to their beliefs with the one-lined, clean, simple tattoo associated with Christianity.

Whatever your reason for perusing fish tattoo design, it's important to know exactly what you want, choose a great artist, a perfect design, and your preferred place for the new ink. It's important to choose the pose, color, and style of your preferred fish and take the time to communicate with your chosen tattoo artist about what you want. Good luck with your fish tattoo!
