Udita Goswami was born in Assam, India on the 2nd September 1984. Her growing up years were spent in Dehradun. She studied at the DAV Public School till eighth grade.

Standing at 5’8”, she was natural as a model. She walked the ramp for leading designers like Suneet Verma and Tarun Tahilyani besides being seen in commercials like Pepsi, Titan and Nokia. She was the cover girl for Cosmopolitan, Elle and Femina.

She won the MTV Model Mission 2 and Model of the Year Asia 2001.

Udita is currently dating director Mohit Suri.

Udita Goswami’s Movies
2003 Udita Goswami’s debut movie was Pooja Bhatt’s Paap as Kaya a Buddhist girl whose life is in turmoil when she falls in love. She was cast opposite John Abraham. It was not a major hit but it brought her a lot of attention.

2005 Her second movie was Mohit Suri’s Zeher, a remake of Out of Time. The movie also starred Emraan Hashmi and Shamita Shetty and was a moderate success. She played the role of Anna, a scheming woman.

2006 She teamed up with her Zeher co-star Emraan Hashmi in Aksar, which became a hit.

2007 Aggar with Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade went unnoticed.

2009 She has a part in Sunny Deol’s The Man which stars Shilpa Shetty and Helloo India with Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta.
